Description
This lightweight, cotton mending tape is 35mm wide and has a plain fabric side and a heat-activated, reverse adhesive side.
It can be used to stablise a tear or weak area of fabric prior to machine or hand darning, or can be used on it’s own.
Just bring the edges of the fabric together and lay out flat on the ironing board. Place the adhesive coated side of the tape onto the fabric and press with a moderately hot iron. Allow to cool before moving.
Manufacturer’s note also say that once correctly applied, the iron-on mending tape can be washed at 60 degrees or dry-cleaned.
