Simply use a washing machine, plastic container or stainless steel sink to begin your dyeing project.

One package (31.9g) will dye 1 pound/450g of dry fabric (ie: 2 adult large t-shirts). To achieve a darker or more intense colour, double the dye quantity.

For best results, add 1 cup of salt to the dye bath for cotton, rayon or linen. Add 1 cup of vinegar to the dye bath for nylon, silk or wool.

*Results may vary depending on fibre content. You may need to also purchase the Rit ColourStay Dye Fixative to fix the colour to your fabric (for cotton, linen or rayon).
